The Straumann World Class Cup (SWCC) is ready to kick off with Round 1, where our key topic is Immediacy. Teams from around the globe are ready to show off their expertise as they present cases highlighting protocols for immediate placement and loading. You are sure to discover a tip or treatment approach that you can apply in your own clinical practice.
Experienced clinicians from around the globe present their cases about surgical and flapless periodontal regeneration, bone regeneration, to soft-tissue management, and wound care. Welcome to the final championship round. Our teams and clinicians showcase their expertise in the interdisciplinary treatments using dental implants in the esthetic zone. The four highest ranked teams in the previous rounds will now compete face to face during the International Esthetic Days event, to determine the winner of the Straumann World Class Cup. Do not miss this opportunity and join us!
The Straumann World Class Cup is a global championship for clinicians to showcase their expertise on our key
topics in dentistry: Regenerative, Digital, Immediacy and Esthetics.
The championship will run from
September to December 2022 and will entail 3 rounds where all teams play against each other (matches
assigned through a draw for transparency) in a virtual format and a 4th face to face round where the most
voted teams will compete in the final during the ESTHETIC DAYS event.
Each country team will be
composed of 4 clinicians and subject matter expert to represent the team in one topic, meaning that each
clinician will play only once, exactly in the round of his/her expertise, bringing a clinical case to the
international jury.
Each match consists of a presentation of a clinical case. During each round and
match, a jury of world-renowned experts will evaluate the cases and assign points. Additionally, there will
be a component of public voting to allow the teams to accumulate higher scores.
In week 3 of each round, here you will find the overall SWCC ranking with the top 10 teams. These will be the results of the Jury vote (50%) and the public vote (50%).
